We spent our last day in Los Angeles in Hollywood. Walking Hollywood Boulevard, looking for familiar names on the Walk of Fame, exploring the streets, the Chinese Theatre, and eventually getting one last look at the Hollywood Sign. We heard the same things over and over: "It's unsafe." "The city is empty." "There are homeless people everywhere." "It's not worth visiting anymore." So we decided to experience it ourselves. And honestly… It was not what we expected. Join us as we spend an unforgettable day exploring one of America's most iconic cities. We begin at the beautiful Ferry Building Marketplace along the Embarcadero, wander through Downtown San Francisco and the modern Salesforce District, experience the futuristic Waymo robotaxi, admire the breathtaking Golden Gate Bridge, explore Union Square and Chinatown, and finish the day with a visit to the world-famous Alcatraz Island, including the historic prison cell blocks. Was everything perfect? No. But compared to everything we had heard before arriving, San Francisco felt far more vibrant, welcoming, and alive than we expected. Tourism was active, the city's landmarks were stunning, and our overall experience completely changed our perspective.
